= Releasing Process =

== Versioning scheme ==

We follow a three number versioning scheme:

   <Major version>:<Minor version>:<bugfix>

For new releases we first do a release candidate

f.i.
   4.2rc1,
   4.2rc2,
   etc

After the release is considered stable we release version 4.2 and the next bugfix will then be called 4.2.1


== Release Candidates ==

A release candidate is made available to the community via our forum. Hopefully we get feedback so that we can improve our software in a faster way.
