= Getting Started with the Tribler source code =

Tribler is based on the [http://pingpong-abc.sf.net/ ABC client] which in turn is based on [http://www.bittornado.com/ Bittornado ] which in turn is based on [http://www.bittorrent.com/ Bram Cohen's original Bittorrent client]. The source code of Tribler is publicly available under [http://svn.tribler.org/abc/branches/mainbranch/Tribler/LICENSE.txt a LGPL Open Source license].
