New in this release are speed improvements in GUI & downloading and a first step towards wiki style moderation.

• Moderation
  Tribler V4.2.0 includes moderation and voting features. V4.2.0 merges the world of Bittorrent with rich meta data, thumbnail previews, and tagging.
• Spam prevention and sibling attacks
  Going towards Wikipedia-style moderation is only possible with effective measures against spam and abuse. V4.2.0 includes the ability for voting and intelligence to filter fake votes based on BarterCast.
• Subtitles and rich metadata
  Moderators have the ability to add subtitles, descriptions, thumbnail preview, and keywords/tags to a Bittorrent swarm. The subtitles for numerous languages can be added to a single swarm and correct rendering of subtitles is ensured with the buildin VLC-based player.
• Re-programming of GUI and download core The original Bittorrent code has been put through a extensive cleanup and changes. For instance, Berkley DB was replaced by SQLite. By restructuring and re-writing part of the code we obtained significant improvements in:
