torrents not being reloaded properly at startup

Hi, really enjoy the program but just wondering if anyone else is have trouble with partial torrents resuming.

If I shut down normally with a torrent at say 40%, then the next time I start tribler the download will resume at 0%. This happens about 50% of the time.

I am too scared to shut down now, so I tend to leave tribler running until each download is complete one at a time.

Running Gnome, UBUNTU 7.10, Tribler 4.1.7

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Do you mean shutting down your system or just Tribler?

If you mean your system than it may be caused by the operating system cleaning /tmp, the directory for temporary files, which Tribler uses as default download directory. You can try to set a different default download dir via the File / Preferences menu.

I hadn't realized Ubuntu had this behaviour, so we'll change the default download directory to something safe.
