Log

I noticed, when I do searches, there are some obviously illegal files there. Does Tribler log anything so these guys can be caught? Or is it like most other clients.

    OK since no one else has replied here is my 2 cents worth;

    If they are 'obviously illegal' to you then just don't download them. The categories of legal and illegal will depend on what laws your country imposes.

    Personal responsibility is far easier to manage.

      Oh I understand that, but I mean, does anyone log what files are being transfered? And of course any third party could monitor them, but I mean the Tribler network itself.

        Hi MK & Matt

        Tribler is an enhancement of Bittorrent and can thus be monitored/crawled. No difference there. The Tribler network itself does not have any central servers and no central logging point of what users downloads.
