Countryflags + Torrentclients visible ?

It would be nice if it is visible what Torrentclients other downloaders/uploaders use, and from what country they are (with a flag).

Is it possible to add these 2 options in a next Tribler release ?

    Sounds as a good idea. We are also thinking of adding more fields to the profile to enable users to tell more about themselves.

      That would be a nice idea too... and and it would be even more great when people can IM each other (personal messages).

      What about an integrated IRC chatroom ??

      Okay, i know Tribler is not a chat/IM program, but options like this will make the Tribler community more active (read: more popular).

        You're totally right. But first things first. We first will make the 'make friends' in Tribler easier.

        We've also thought about IM. But my preference would go first to normal messaging. Sending each other recommendations about torrents for example.
