Nice to see a forum on the site. :)

Anyway, some suggestions: 1. Hide the ID column, unless it is thought to be needed for easy reference. For example, if a bug report subforum is added, the ID could perhaps be used as a bug report ID. However, for normal conversations, questions, discussions, etc., showing the ID is imho pointless.

2. Sort the threads based on activity by default. Threads with new posts are generally more important than old ones. Showing these threads first saves the user from scrolling down to the bottom of the page (ok, currently there are not many threads yet created).

3. Related to point 2, show threads with new posts since the user's last visit in bold or add some icon next to it.

4. Semi-related to point 3, show some forum markup help. I first typed "hash 2" in my post for point 3. When I previewed my post, I saw it was turned into a ticket link. It would be nice if these things are documented. :)
